Surf Lifesaving Club Lifesavers

I am thinking about joining one of these clubs when I relocate. I heard there are a lot of perks when joining, like not only competing in watersports, but there is a semi-private cafe and pub on the beach. You can usually store your surfboard there as well.
Plus hey, lets be honest wouldn't anyone want to hang out with these guys? They seem like fun. =)
